About Sammy

Sammy Sullivan is an Olympic medalist, Army Captain, and content creator living in San Diego, California. She’s passionate about women in sports, service, and family - all with a sprinkle of humor.

Sammy grew up playing soccer and found Rugby during her freshman year at the United States Military Academy at West Point. She continues to play and serve as part of the U.S. Army World Class Athlete Program and Women’s Rugby Sevens, making history when her team beat Australia, 14-12 to win the bronze medal in the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Outside of playing Rugby and serving in the military, Sammy is a public speaker specializing in the topics of personal growth, leadership, and performing under pressure.

And yes, you’re likely to catch her in the gym, getting glammed, or building a new Lego set.
